Classroom Reflection #2
When I was in elementary schools I remember the "latest" technology. We had projectors and Apple computers which only had images in a lime green color. In my 3rd grade classroom today I looked at all the newer technologies of the classroom. There were page projectors, five computers in the back, electric pencil sharpeners, and a calculator in every child's desk. From this class I know that there is better and more useful technology out there, but it is too expensive for every class to have it. My cooperating teacher is amazing with what she can do with the technology that she is given. It's not important what a classroom has, but it is important that a teacher knows how to use it effectively.

I agree with you -- it's not what we have but how we use it. And that is one of the great challenges for teachers. What do we have available to us and what can we do to improve the learning environment in our classrooms? Sounds like you are working with a great teacher who is a good model for you.
