Classroom Reflection #4
Today in my classroom I got the opportunity to use the Elmo projector. I found that it projected the image very clearly. I liked using it because the image could be enlarged for the whole class to see. It would be fun to read a picture book on the Elmo. Learning could be enhanced and all the children could see the images, even the ones in the back. I don't know how much they cost, but I am assuming most classrooms have them now.

The document projectors are exciting to work with because the clarity and range of things you can do with it. I cannot even begin to compare the new with the old projectors. I looked up the price and found a range in prices from about $1,800 to over $3,000, depending on the quality of the machine; however I know you will get a certain amount of money for technology depending on the district you work in. Some classes just come prepared with excellent tools such as the Elmo.
PS I really like your new blog. It is better than the last! :)
I am almost jealous of all you who are actually in a classroom opposed to me being in the gym. I feel like the use of technology is utilized or at least has the potential of being utilized in the classroom more than in a gym class.
